My background is as a Chef and a Product Development Technologist in the food industry, with nearly 20 years of experience. Photography is my stress release and my way of capturing the world around me. My interest for photography developed long before my career in the food industry started. Buying my first SLR when I was 16 and modelling as a pre teen & teenager for the award winning photo enthusiast's in my family and for the Hastings Camera Club. I aspire to some day capture my passions for food and photography in a cookbook or two.
I am a member of the Hawke's Bay Photographic Society Inc., I previously was the secretary for 2 years, having recently resigned to devote more time to family and work interests (www.hbps.co.nz). I am also a student /emerging member of NZIPP.
