Thank you for taking the time to look at my photos. I have been taking photos since I was young as an amateur and enjoying the opportunities photography brings. Since digital photography has come of age my interest has had a bit of a resurgence and I’m on my forth digital camera. I have settled on a Canon 30D and found it to be a great tool. I take a lot of dog photos, mainly of German Shepherds at shows. I also enjoy nature, animals, landscapes. If you would like your event covered please contact me by the email form opposite.

Motorcross photography is my hobby. My love and interest for Motocross started already when I was young (12 years old).
My real involvement in MX started when I was living New Zealand in the early '80's when I was doing some riding myself.
After returning back to Holland I became a mechanic for one of the top European riders in the '80's. Gerard Rond, also a Dutchman, was riding in the Grand Prix 500cc class and won Gold at the ISDE in Spain in 1985.
In 2006 & 2007 I helped Tony Cooksley in Europe with his races and took photos of his campaign to become the World Veteran champion in 2007.

I've allways liked the idea of "painting with light" and that is how i consider each and every photograph i compose. I do this through the lens, in the darkroom, on the computer. It is my passion. Photographic images are the art of seeing and I put as much into stock photography as my artistic peices as they are all one and the same to me. I am mostly self taught but have had one and a half years formal training. To date I have had good sales and a whole lot of fun through exhibiting, eventing, brochure, greeting cards, postcards candid portraits, weddings, etc. If you have any questions email to jk.lightcreations@hotmail.com. Have a fantastic day.

I work as a multi-faceted artist, working with various processes, one passion being Photography. I initially trained as a Graphic Artist and have a Dip. Craft Design and a Bachelor of Art & Design. I have exhibited extensively and hold awards in all processes of Art, Design and Photography. I work free-lance and specialize in people, pets and portraits and just that unique moment which can never be repeated again, that special event, an interior, landscape or the simplicity of a wild flower and the bond of a special animal. I have also done Commercial shoots and with my Design background, I know how to get that best product shot! I work with digital enhancement for that extra effect to add to the moment and I can also create an ART image from a shoot. If you want something really special, please contact me and I will look forward to creating that moment and memory for you at competitive rates, your special 'Life' Moment, an image for life. I have gained various awards and guarantee results that stay with you. Costings are tailored to your needs.

I live in Central Otago and love the diverse landscape and defined seasons. Frequently visiting other areas of the South Island gives me great photographic opportunities. My aim as I get more experience with photography is to become a natural photographer, with little digital enhancement, so what I see is captured in print.
I hope you enjoy my work as much as I do creating it.

Recently I have been toying with the idea of starting a hobby. Something I love, something to potter with when the time allows, something that fits in with life, yet is something I am good at and enjoy. Something that i would call'My Passion'.
I finally have found that passion. Photography. Thinking back, I have always had a special yearn there for photography. I remember many years ago, finding in our garage an old trunk belonging to my Grandad. Inside was an old old camera. I remember being enthralled by the size of it. It never had any film in it, just packed away for safe keeping. Over the years I have taken alot of photos. From the good old black and white film to today with the very sophisticated digital camera which I am proud to own. I am now the proud owner of a digital camera. I spend alot of time at the beach here at Mount Maunganui and surrounds. The best thing is the feeling of having had a great day shooting photo's. So very rewarding.
Feel free to contact me on karen@karenorrphotography.com for any enquiries.
Love to hear from you!

I have a passion for photography and first started taking photos with a Canon SLR. I attended a course on darkroom developing at night school and then spent hours in the darkroom. A few years ago I purchased my Canon 350D.. I have not been tempted to upgrade this camera as I love it and it takes great photos. My photos cover diverse subjects, including landscapes, plants, animals and people (especially the old and the young), it seems to be about what catches my eye.

Ive had a passion for photography since i was 10 and was given my first camera, which was a 110 format, my cameras sure changed over the years. I took the leap into digital photograghy a couple of years ago. my images are all about capturing the moment and sharing it with others. I use a Canon 450d which is a fantastic camera.Alot of my images have been taken with my canon eos 5 film camera and then professionally scanned into a digital image. Images with qss-29 where the camera make and model information shows, are the ones that are film format changed to digital. I like to take pictures of anything that inspires me. Feel free to email me with any questions or comments. If there is any particular image you may require let me know and i could take it for you.
I love to create collages of my images and have several on the site, these would be great as postcards, greeting cards or as a striking piece of art work on the wall. If you would like one that is unique for your wall then send me an email and let me know what you would like.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my photos.
I have been taking photos for more than 50 years as an amateur and a part time professional, but just about gave up because of the cost. Since digital photography has come of age my interest has been rekindled and the truth is, I just like taking photographs of objects and views that interest me. I now use a Canon 40D Digital SLR camera and various lenses.
